hanspeter schneider was born in zürich. he started to take photographs at an early age and held his first exhibition of photographs and paintings when he was 16. after training as a graphic designer, he worked as an art director for various advertising agencies in england, switzerland, germany and france.
since 1983 he works as a photographer.
